Quantity vs quality in blogging

There has long been controversy regarding the advantages of quantity over quality. This question is challenging to answer.
One outstanding piece of content may not be enough to get the desired results. In contrast, because you are developing material for human consumers, you must never compromise on its quality.

We are not going to take sides in this piece; instead, we will provide pros and then allow you to make your own decision based on what you want to achieve with your blog.

Quality
Benefits
When you put in the work for each blog article, people notice, and it plays an important role.
You will be comfortable sharing and discussing your blog.
Better posts get shared more frequently.
Your blog’s pillars are high-quality posts. They stand out in the thoughts of readers and form the foundation of your blog’s identity. They ensure that your blog remains active for an extended period of time.
If you focus less on quantity and take your time with each post, you will be less likely to burn out.

“Quality” is a broad term that can signify superior or better. However, the quality of a work of art is most subjective to the user/audience. What we consider to be quality may differ from what you consider to be quality.

As a writer, it is critical to determine what your audience considers to be quality and then offer them accordingly; yet, the only way to know this is to provide them with enough (quantity); then, you derive the data from their interactions with these numerous postings.

With each post, focusing on quality over quantity helps to keep and engage followers. Most followers will be unable to keep up with your content if you update too frequently. Giving them useful content at a sensible pace is effective.

New readers may chose to read several posts before following you. Having a variety of intriguing and well-written pieces will persuade them that your site is worthwhile of their time.

However, quality is a subjective metric that we employ to empower our self-judgment. Unfortunately, it continues to constrain and trap us. Many people have refused to begin or continue writing because of this. They are more concerned about quality.

Quality cannot be quantified, can it? As a result, we largely rely on our intuition to determine quality for us. Is there a metric that we can use to judge how much we like a piece of work before labeling it as high quality? alternatively, how can we know if a piece is “quality?” Very complicated, yes? Exactly. However, quantity can be measured. You can count the number of articles you’ve authored, the number of people who have read them, and so on. So, why not start there?

Quantity
Quantity blog articles are those that are frequently published but may not include thorough or precise information. They are usually short, easy to read, and cover a wide range of topics. If you are a new writer, you must first identify your specialty, style, and readership. The best approach to accomplish this is to write as many posts as possible.
Furthermore, quantity might be a series of experiments to determine the vaccine’s quality. You get to discover which niche you enjoy the most and your chosen writing style, all while discovering what your audience enjoys the most. Numerous blog entries attract a wide range of viewers to your website. As a result, there may be an increase in traffic, which could lead to a rise in sales.
Benefits

It aids in the creation of a content backlog. Having a content backlog helps retain new readers by providing them with additional content to read.
Readers will find a wide range of topics. New readers are more inclined to read several posts before following you.
More direct traffic.

Finally, a vital and yet much overlooked part of blogging is CONSISTENCY. It is critical to maintain consistency when posting on your blog, regardless of quality or quantity. Also, always provide your audience with nothing but pure value. You don’t want people to feel as if they’re wasting their time every time they read your blog. Otherwise, they will stop coming, and you will lose them.
